I am in favor of making nouns and adjectives that end with c’s into verbs, if only because I like the extra “k” that shows up in the gerund and past participle.

“Yeah, we used to be dating, but now we’re just platonicking.”

“Man, I was gin & tonicking all night long.”

“Oh snap!  You just got ironicked!”
